Questions we get from US clients

Do I need to open a company in India to hire someone there?+

No. With an EOR, we're the legal employer. Your US business doesn't need an Indian PAN number, GST registration, or a local bank account to put someone on payroll.

How long does it take to get someone on payroll?+

Usually 4–7 business days from signed offer letter to first payroll cycle. Statutory registrations (PF, ESI) run in parallel and don't block the start date.

What mandatory benefits does an employee in India receive?+

Provident Fund (12% employer contribution), ESI if the salary is under ₹21,000/month, Gratuity after 5 years of service, and paid leave under the applicable state Shops & Establishments Act.

What's the difference between an EOR and a staffing agency?+

A staffing agency recruits. An EOR is the legal employer. We don't place candidates — you find your own person and we handle the employment structure, compliance, and payroll.

Can you handle terminations?+

Yes. We manage the notice period, calculate full & final settlement, issue relieving letters, and handle PF and ESI exit formalities so the separation is clean on both sides.
